TO THE EDITOR:

It was with sadness that my wife, Carol & I learned that Kevin Kress, Clearwater’s City Administrator, had accepted a new city administrator job with the City of North Oaks.

Kevin has done an outstanding job while here. He modernized the city, especially improving its financial picture. There are good interpersonal relations in the office now. Outside consultants are used only when needed. Decision-making is better now that the city government & the Council cooperate. There is a more optimistic outlook at City Hall - we know we can attract significant new business & meet the needs of the citizens for routine services. The refurbished parks look great; the city celebrations are more enthusiastic & better attended.

Mr. Kress has a public persona - he is always willing to take time to chat with the locals about anything.

Without a doubt, Kevin believes on Clearwater - its past, present & future.

North Oaks is indeed a lucky place!

We will miss you, Mr. City Administrator.
