To The Editor:

We would like to share with you a heartwarming story that we experienced on Thanksgiving.  We suddenly had no water Thanksgiving morning & were planning to host some friends for the holiday. We thought we would have to cancel our Thanksgiving plans. 

We reached out to Randy Fobbe (owner of Fobbe Well) to see if he could help us out. After spending some time on the phone with Randy we realized it was looking like our well pump needed to be replaced. Randy said they would be to our house within the hour to get things up & running. 

True to his word, the truck pulled up about an hour later, armed with anything that might have been needed to get the well pump repaired. Randy arrived with his wife Kristi ready to go to work. They backed up to the well & jumped right in. They removed the old well pump & installed a new one. Within a short amount of time we had water again!

While we were talking with them we realized that Randy & Kristi had left their Thanksgiving to come & repair our well so that we could have ours. It was one of the nicest things that anybody has every done for us. We feel like this local family & business deserve some recognition. It's just another reminder that we live in an amazing community. We are so thankful to be a part of it.
