TO THE EDITOR:

To business owners & newspaper readers in the Becker areas that our current newspaper reaches. My employees & I thank you for supporting our small hardware store. Other businesses that are closed or close to closing may need all the help we can give them, however we can help. 

After reading the March editorial in our paper, I thought about what happened to the West Sherburne Tribune, one item: any business can take out a years subscription & write it off as a business expense at no cost to your business or even take out a few more ads. As readers, I am hoping many may look harder at ads businesses do take out & see how many times can financially save customers money. 

A community without a local newspaper, will be without truthful reporting & will rely on local gossip. Does FaceBook hire local reporters, to tell what happens at city hall, county, local sports, church services, employment openings, non-profit group meetings, deaths, many local stories, classified ads & even political opinions, etc. 

We need to support each other to make it through this virus. Thank you for taking the time to read this & try shopping local to help our businesses survive.
