TO THE EDITOR:

First of all, I agree with Bill Morgan’s column of January 25 and with Gary Meyer’s column in support of him. In addition, I feel that people can express their stands on politics, disagree without anger, and remain friends. Never do I remember seeing so much expressed hatred as I have during Trump’s presidency. Such uncalled-for hatred presents a bad example for our children who look to adults for guidance. 

God told us we are not to hate one another. The Bible also tells us He’s behind the choosing of our presidents. Trump’s election to office is an example. According to the odds, he should never have won. But God made it happen, and He may do it again.
