Letter to the Editor

TO THE EDITOR:

Hating someone because he has done wrong does not cure HATRED-16.  With that thinking, we will end up with a whole world full of haters and hated people since NO ONE is perfect.  (See Romans 3:10-12.)

We have to stop excusing our hatred as though we have a right to hate.

The only antidote for HATRED-16 is forgiveness.  But there are steps to take before one can forgive.

  1. Stop listening to gossipers who ignore the facts and exaggerate their biases, including the Press.
  2. Start looking for the good in others. As bad as we all tend to be, we all try to do some good.

Here is a list of some good things that a “bad” person has done:

Made the USA energy independent, giving us lower prices at the pump.

Brought corporations back to the USA, causing unemployment to go down and wages to go up.

Honored those who risk their lives to protect US citizens.

Lowering taxes for all Americans.

Responded quickly to COVID-19, developing a vaccine before year’s end, as promised.

Stopped China, NATO, the UN, NAFTA, WHO, etc. from taking financial advantage of the USA.

Recognized unborn babies as fully human.
