LETTER TO THE EDITOR

Hours of work, perseverance, teamwork and prayer brought forth Oakwood’s first outdoor service last Sunday, and it was a success. When the service began and music filled the Furniture World parking lot, God’s presence was clearly felt. My husband and I want to thank everyone who helped make this service possible: Furniture World for allowing us to use their parking lot; the worship team; those in charge of electronics; ushers who directed vehicles; Pastor Gerry, Sarah and Madison; those who set up and dismantled; and anyone else I may have missed. We appreciate the work and time you put in to make this service possible. God is good.
