TO THE EDITOR:
After I first wrote a letter several years ago for Paul Seefeld who was running for the Big Lake City Council, I wholeheartedly believed not only in him, but what he stood for. I did not know Paul Knier at that time. Now here we are in September of 2020. What a year! So much has changed in our country. The values that I have experienced in our beloved country for six decades are very much in danger of disappearing and that breaks my heart. I grew up with a strong patriotism, love of God and country, respect for law enforcement, conservative spending, and a very real knowledge of right and wrong. If you break the law, you pay the consequences. If you obey the law you have nothing to worry about. In this time in our lives, it is more important than ever to be a voice in our land, and it is critically important to start at the local level to vote for men/women with those values we cherish. I continue to believe even more that Paul Seefeld, and now, Paul Knier, are those men. They represent all the above qualities and more. I have known Paul Seefeld for several years, and now Paul Knier for a couple of years, and I know they will give everything they have and do all they can do to keep these values in place. A vote for Paul Seefeld for City Council and Paul Knier for Big Lake Mayor will be a vote to hold on to what we hold dear. Remember, the two Pauls will deliver what they promise!
