Letter to Editor

TO THE EDITOR:

In last week's Patriot, Editor Bill Morgan gave his readers an article citing numerous examples of attacks on Christianity and culture.

Who can disagree?  Frustrated by unsustainable debt, crushing regulations on businesses, rising taxes, continued government

overreach?  Washington is "Broken" and will never limit its power.

Bill encouraged us to pick up our stones and stand up for our beliefs ....What can you do?  That stone is right under our eyes in Article V

of the Constitution called the Convention of States.   COS  Project is a non- partisan, united grassroots movement dedicated to  building

an engaged army of active citizens working to pass a COS Resolution in MN, and every state.

Our founders had the foresight to give us a tool to safeguard our liberties.  Article V of the Constitution authorizes the state legislatures

to call a COS to only propose amendments that would

Impose fiscal restraints on the federal government

Limit its power and jurisdiction

Impose term limits on Federal officials
