To The Editor,

The Becker Fire-Rescue Relief Association would like to express our gratitude to all the businesses that supported us through advertising on our 2020 fund-raising calendar. This year has been especially challenging for are firefighters. With the larger industrial fire at the northern metal recycling facility that went on for several days and are continued response to the Covid 19 epidemic. The communities support during this trying year has given are firefighters strength. We would encourage the citizens to support these local businesses that have supported us.

The Becker Fire-Rescue Relief Association would also like to thank all of the citizens that responded to our fund-raising calendar and so generously donated.  We will continue to accept donations throughout the year.

These donations go toward many causes related directly to the firefighters in a separate entity from the Becker Fire Department. Donations help to purchase memorials for fallen firefighters or an immediate family member, issuing scholarships to local graduates, donating to local events and to host firefighter appreciation events.

In closing, I’d like you to know our members are truly honored to serve such a supportive community.
