Have you been watching the Presidential debates? Presidential dog fights, that is. I opted for portions of a football and baseball game last Sunday night. I think the Cubs baseball game took priority Wednesday.

 

Just didn’t see how any of that dialogue could enthuse me to continue through this political season.

 

The Republican candidate? What can be said, other than he’s there by a will of the (hardly thinking) minor majority going to the polls in the primary races and caucuses.

 

The Democrat candidate?

 

I have to believe she’s the most untrustworthy of candidates - all time. Don’t expect the fibbin’ to cease once she’s sworn in January.

 

So, what gives come election day? Hold your nose.

 

Wouldn’t the candidate combination of Gov. John Kasich and the neurosurgeon look good?

 

For sure, to Republicans.

 

And to a lot of Democrats, too.
