CARE (Community Action Respecting Elders) hosted their annual golf fundraiser June 6 at Stone Creek Golf Course in Foley.
Many local businesses were generous sponsors and donors for the golf tournament. CARE has a goal of supporting area residents age 60 and older to continue living independently in the homes of their choice. The vision of CARE is to help the aging members of the community live longer, happier and more meaningful lives. CARE is grateful for community volunteers who help them accomplish this goal.
Aside from the fun of golfing at the fundraiser, the annual event serves as a great opportunity to get together with friends and neighbors, and meet others from the area and raise money to help people in need.
A special thank you goes out to the generous sponsors, donors, and golfers, who gave in support of CARE’s mission to serve seniors. The CARE Board of Directors and staff are very grateful to all who come out to make the event such a success. The goal of CARE is to work together to help aging members of the community live longer, happier, and more meaningful lives.
