Upcoming Programs At Becker Library

The Becker Public Library is offering the following programs:

Preschool Storytime – May 6
The Becker Public Library is offering a Preschool Storytime for children ages 3 to 6 on Tuesdays, May 6, 13, 20 and 27, 10:30 to 11:15 a.m. Storytimes includes stories, songs and crafts to build kindergarten readiness in young children. There is no registration requirement.
 
Author Frederick Blanch – May 8
Author Frederick Blanch will give a presentation for teens and adults at the Becker Public Library on Thursday, May 8, 6:30 to 8:00 p.m. His book “Last Words” provides an account of the author’s life using key words to provide focus. He was a child during the Great Depression in a tiny Minnesotan farming community, and his life has included stints as a printer, actor, beekeeper, television producer and photographer. His presentation is funded in part with money from Minnesota’s Arts and Cultural Heritage Fund. 
 
Basic Computer & Internet Help
An experienced volunteer is available at the Becker Public Library to help library users with Basic Computer and Internet skills. Get help setting up an email account, performing a basic web search, or getting started using Word or Excel.
