Food Service with Elk River Senior Dining
Help in the kitchen with Senior Dining and be the bright spot for older adults at mealtime! Assist by arranging food for serving, making coffee for mealtimes, and assisting with food preparation as directed. Volunteers must follow safety and health protocols. Volunteers are needed Monday through Friday from 10:00 – 1:00 pm at the Senior Dining Site in Elk River.
Driver with Tri-County Action Program
Provide safe and reliable transportation for individuals with limited transportation options by utilizing your personal vehicle. Duties may include assisting passengers with mobility issues, collecting monitor fare from passengers, and assisting in paperwork.
Drop-In Greeter with Open Doors for Youth
Youth ages 16-24 are often in need of supports to find stability in life. Help better the lives of those struggling with housing stability by volunteering at a resource center just for youth. Volunteers are needed in two hour shifts from 1:00-5:00 pm (shifts then being from 1-3 and 3-5 pm), Monday-Thursday. Duties include greeting and checking in our youth (be their first contact!), answering phones, receiving and recording possible donations that would come in.
