RSVP/ The Volunteer Bridge

Tri-CAP Tax Site Greeter – Provide customer support for taxpayers, answer basic questions, assist in traffic flow at the tax clinic. No previous tax experience is necessary. Tax season 1/31/2022 – 4/15/2022.

Tri-CAP Individual Tax Preparer – Work with Tri-Cap clients to prepare their income taxes and/or renter’s returns, identify important tax credits and help to get the best refund possible. Meet one of the following criteria: experience filing your own return, taken a college level tax law or tax accounting course or work in the accounting field. Training on tax laws and software provided in January. Tax season 1/31/2022 – 4/15/2022. 

Tri-CAP Individual Tax Reviewer – Review of tax returns prepared by Tri-Cap volunteer tax preparers and ensure that tax returns are accurate. Reviewer ensures that customers are receiving all eligible tax credits. Compile completed return packet to be given back to customer. Strong background in individual income tax required, with knowledge of low-income tax preferred. Tax season 1/31/2022 – 4/15/2022.
