RSVP / The Volunteer Bridge

Greeter at the Sherburne Government Center

Volunteers are needed to help greet individuals coming into the Sherburne Government Center.  This is a great way to help your local government by answering phone calls, directing patrons on where to go, and being the first point of contact for those in the community.  This position is safely behind a partition and is the perfect opportunity to safely meet others that reside in your community.  Good fit for those interested in your local government!

Senior Friendship Circle Leader with RSVP

Senior Friendship Circles are small groups of 3 members and one Leader that meet via telephone calls on a weekly basis.  For just one hour a week, you can help combat loneliness of 3 others in your community.  One participant has even stated their group is one of the best things that have ever happened to them.  A simple weekly phone chat can help others in a big way!

Driver with Great River Faith in Action

Especially now, people in the community struggle to get to and from medical and social services appointments.  This is a great opportunity to help in driving individuals who just need a little help getting where they need to go.  If you have a car and the time, this flexible position is perfect for you.

If you are interested in volunteering in these or other opportunities, please contact:
