RSVP / The Volunteer Bridge

Greeter at Sherburne Government Center

Individuals are still in need of services at the Government Center, especially given the times we are in.  Help give back to your community in a big way by volunteering at the front desk of the Sherburne Government Center.  Duties include answering the phone, directing patrons on where to go, and answering questions. What a fantastic way to help your local government!

Support CAER Food Shelf from Your Home!

If you have extra time on your hands and want to give back from the safety of your home, then we have the opportunity for you!  Help the food shelf in Elk River by sewing masks, collecting empty egg carts to donate, or be an online ambassador and spread CAER’s mission to others.  Many options are still available among these times.

Food Rescue Volunteer with the Big Lake Community Food Shelf

Grocery stores in our community are so generous and have been donating food items that are no longer able to be sold to the Big Lake Community Food Shelf (BLCFS).  Be part of the team that helps get food items from local retailers such as Otsego Target and Monticello Cub Foods and deliver the food to the BLCFS so people in need have meals.  Ability to drive the BLCFS cargo van is necessary.
