The Rev. Dr. Karen McKinney will preach and lead a learning session at Rejoice Lutheran Church in Clearwater on Sunday, March 27. All are welcome to worship at 9:30 a.m. followed by a meal and conversation. Free will offering will be taken for the meal catered by Chevy’s Pit. The learning session will address how equity applies to us at home, at church and in our community from Noon – 3 p.m. Dr. McKinney earned a Ph.D. from St. Thomas and a M.Div. from Fuller Seminary. She was a chaplain and professor at Bethel University for 24 years and currently is the Chief Equity Officer/Assistant Commissioner at the Minnesota Department of Human Services.
