Also, in September the Lioness will be hosting the Red Cross Bloodmobile at Mary of the Visitation Catholic Church in Big Lake from 12noon to 6pm.  Everyday blood donors help patients of all ages: accident and burn victims, heart surgery and organ transplant patients, and those battling cancer. In fact, every two seconds, someone in the U.S. needs blood. One blood donation may help up to three lives. Those, who wish to donate much needed blood can do so at www.redcross.org.
