At our Jan. business meeting, Big Lake Lioness sorted 244 of home-made & purchased winter wear items for our local schools. Each elementary school in Big Lake & the Primary & Intermediate Schools in Becker received a bag of winter apparel for kids to use during recess as needed. 

Due to ongoing COVID restrictions at local nursing homes/care centers, the Lioness began to send birthday cards in lieu of flowers to residents at the Monticello Care Center. At Christmas, all residents received a  personalized card from the Lioness. Throughout 2021 residents will be receiving seasonal holiday cards in addition to a birthday card the month of their birthday.
