Becker Schools - Going Back to School

Becker Schools’ fall semester will be beginning during the second week of September. The model for student learning will be determined by the number of COVID-19 cases in Sherburne County. The plan, thus far, for fall semester is as follows:

Students in grades K-5 will receive individual assessment on Sept. 8 and 9. Students will return to classes on Sept. 10. Elementary students will be following an in-person model, meaning that they will have classes at full capacity, while practicing general COVID-19 practices.

Students in grades 6-12 will be following a hybrid model of learning. This means that students with last names A-K will attend in-person on Mondays and Tuesdays and be at home on Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays. Students with last names L-Z will attend in-person on Thursdays and Fridays and learn at home on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays. In the case where siblings have different last names, the last name of the oldest student will be used to determine the schedule for all the siblings.

School will begin for students entering grade nine on Sept. 8. For all other grades, students with last names A-K will begin on Sept. 9, and students with last names L-Z will begin on Sept. 10.

Parents with questions are strongly encouraged to contact the school.
