The Becker Bulldog swim and dive team competed in the Section 5A tournament in Duluth last weekend and a number of girls from Becker achieved some personal best times and scores.
However, no Bulldogs made it to the state meet being played out at the University of Minnesota Aquatic Center this weekend.
Jade Erson
In the 50 freestyle, Erson dropped 33 seconds from her previous best time and finished in ninth place. In the 100 freestyle, Erson dropped 97 seconds and finished again in ninth place.
Macy Erson
In the 50 freestyle, Erson dropped 1.05 seconds and finished in 11th place. In the 100 freestyle she dropped 1.57 sec and finished in 11th place.
Jalissa Johnson
Johnson dropped 2.76 seconds in the 200 individual medley and in the 100 breaststroke, she dropped 13 seconds.
Emma Lefebvre
Lefebvre dropped 1.79 sec in the 200 freestyle and 1.71 seconds in the 100 backstroke to finish in 16th place.
Emily Lipinski
In the 50 freestyle, Lipinski dropped 48 seconds and in the 100 fly, she dropped 1.48 seconds.
Andrea Molus
Molus dropped 8.04 seconds and finished in fifth place in the 200 freestyle and dropped 10.12 seconds, finishing in seventh place in the 500 freestyle.
Paige Roesler
Roesler reduced her best time in the 500 freestyle by 7.27 seconds.
Maddie Thorn
Thorn dropped 33 seconds in the 100 backstroke.
Emi Quill, Emily Skelton
In diving, Quill placed 10th and Skelton placed 16th.
Abby Hendrickson
Hendrickson, who dove with a healing broken nose, did not make the finals.
In the 200 medley relay, Thorn, Johnson, Lipinski and Melody Swanson dropped 22 seconds and finished ninth.
In the 200 freestyle relay, Jade Erson, Nicole Larrison, Macy Erson and Molus dropped 3.71 seconds and finished fifth.
In the 400 freestyle relay, Molus, Lefebvre, Jade Erson and Macy Erson dropped 3.79 seconds and finished in fourth place.
