Strong finish to the PCWC’s 2024 golf season

The Pebble Creek Women’s Club officially ended the 2024 season at their recent Fall Banquet where final champions were announced and a newly elected Board of Directors was seated.

“Being able to gather as a community of golfers and celebrate another great season was amazing,” said Jesse O’Neill, newly confirmed Pebble Creek Women’s Club President. “The Pebble Creek Women’s Club is made up of a great group of women of all levels of golfing ability. We build friendships, improve our golf games and work together to expand the game of golf to women and girls of all ages.”

Joining O’Neill on the 2024-2025 Board of Directors is Past President Amy Stanger, Vice President Carolyn Barriball, Treasurer Nicole Lane and Secretary Karla Johnson along with four Directors: Stacey Vetsch, Paige Krumme, Jen Fingarson and Bonnie Kolbinger.

Winners of the final competitions of the Pebble Creek Women’s Club season were announced including for the 9-Hole Year-End Tournament and the Match Play competitions. The award for most significant improvement in performance was also presented.

The 2024 9-Hole Year-End Tournament first flight winners are Carolyn Barriball (first place), Allison Meidt (second place) and Allee Blank (third place). Second flight winners are Sumre Robinson (first place), Lori Berends (second place) and Jesse O’Neill (third place). Third flight winners are Kyler Klein (first place), Vonnie Novak (second place) and Heather Moshier (third place - tie) and Krisy Cox (third place – tie).

The 2024 Women’s Doubles Match Play Champions are Joan Frie and Annie Hegg and the runners-up are Amy Stanger and Stacey Vetsch.  The 2024 Women’s Singles Match Play Champion is Sandra Lemke and the runner-up is Nicole Lane.

The players honored with the most significant improvement in performance during the season are Robin Dingmann and Bonnie Kolbinger.
