The Big Lake Hornet gymnastics team hosted their annual Hornet Classic Tournament with eight area teams participating last Saturday.
The Hornets captured first place and Britney Krumrei won three of the four events and was all-around champion. Krumrei broke a school record with a combined 38.1 score.
Becker finished third behind Big Lake and Monticello.

Krumrei was also named to the Star Tribune Metro Honor Roll for her previous scores in all-around (36.65, sixth), vault (9.55, fifth), uneven bars (9.35, sixth) and floor (9.35, 14th).
