Fluck Has Great Fall Season At Aurora

Becker graduate and current Aurora University student and golfer Jackson Fluck has had a great fall golf season.

Recently, Fluck — after a tough opening round of 82 — fired a 73 for the third lowest score of the day at the very difficult Whistling Straits Golf Course in Kohler, WI.

Fluck’s 73 helped Aurora University to a four-stroke lead in the Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference Championship played Oct. 8-9.

Two more rounds are played in the spring (April 22-23) to determine which team goes to NCAA National Tournament.

Fluck shot 76-79 in early September at the AU Double Gun tournament. He followed that up with a 71-79 at the Carthage Tim Kopka Memorial tournament and a 77-78 at the Midwest Region Classic.

At the Hopkins Collegiate Classic at the end of September, Fluck shot 75-75 and improved his conference ranking to tied for 14th. The next week he shot a 75 at the Naperville Collegiate Invitational.

Fluck finished the fall season ranked #2 in the conference with at 76.4 scoring average.
