The Becker Big Lake Eagles varsity hockey team lost an away game to Dodge County, 5-1, Tuesday.
Taylor Giving scored the Eagles only goal in the third period on a power play with assists from Adam Schug and Lyndon Carlson.
Goalie Justin Morrow stopped 25 of 30 shots on goal. The Eagles had 20 shots on goal. Morrow finishes the regular season with an .848 save percentage.
The Eagles are in third place in the Two Rivers Conference with a record of 3-6. Leading the conference is Legacy Christian Academy with a record of 9-2.
Pine City/Rush City is next with 6-4. St. Paul Highland Park is in fourth place with a 2-4 record. Mora and Moose Lake Area round out the bottom of the conference.
The Eagles take on the Monticello-Annandale-Maple Lake Stars Saturday, Feb. 14 at Monticello at 7 p.m.
Monticello is seeded number eight and Becker Big Lake is seeded number nine. The winner of that game will go on to play number one seed Bemidji at Bemidji Tuesday at 7 p.m.
