Next, the Eagles took on the Northern Lakes Lightning. The Lightning is a hard team to beat after they went to state last year and are looking to do it again this year.

It was a rough game overall for the Eagles with them losing, 11-0. Three seniors were held out of the game for the Eagles which lessen their chances against a really good team.

The Lighting scored three goals in the first, eight goals in the second, and then the Eagles put up a good fight and made sure the Lightning didn’t score a goal in the third.

Coming up, the Eagles will play the Monticello Moose in the section playoffs.
