Eagles Defeated At Little Falls 9 2

The Eagles lost another tough game when they played at Little Falls Tuesday. Despite a promising start to the game, it quickly went against their favor and ended with a 9-2 loss.
 
The first period started with promise, despite a quick 1-0 deficit. The Eagles quickly tied the game at 1-1 with a Max Nelson goal, assisted by Alec Doran and Aubrey Hartfiel.
 
The second period quickly sealed the victory for Little Falls as they scored five unanswered points in 10 minutes. A power play by Weston Schug, Ryan Murnane assist, gave the Eagles one more goal, cutting their deficit 6-2. Little Falls put in three more goals before the end of the third period, finalizing the game score 9-2.
 
Becker/Big Lake served 13 minutes on five infractions, some of which included boarding and interference.
 
Zach Piehl tended the goal for the Eagles, saving 37 of 46 total shots taken against him. The Eagles only go 11 shot attempts against Little Falls.
 
This loss lowers the season to 4-11, added another loss to a new streak, which began after their most recent win against Moose Lake Jan 6.
