The Big Lake Dance Team made history this past Monday as they hosted their first-ever home invite. 

Big Lake’s Varsity Kick team achieved a new program record, scoring a 306. This was also the first time the Hornets broke 300 for varsity kick (previous record being a 297 from the 2020-21 season.) 

Big Lake’s Varsity Jazz team also achieved a new program record, scoring a 307 (previous record was a 306 from the 2020-21 season.) 

The Hornets’ JV Jazz team also achieved a new program record, scoring a 232. This was the third time they’ve done so this season!

This was also the first invite where three of Big Lake’s teams placed.

Schools that were in attendance were: Academy of Holy Angels; Big Lake; Cooper; Glencoe Silver Lake; Monticello; PACT Charter and Spectrum.
