SENIOR GUARD HUNTER MCCALLA led all scorers Thursday night with 22 as Becker rolled to an easy win over the Mora Mustangs, 83-39.

Bulldogs Improve To 8 6 With 44 Point Win Over Mora

Hunter McCalla had 22 points and four Bulldog basketball players notched double digits in Becker’s big win over Mora Thursday night at home.

Becker 83, Mora 39
The Bulldogs took early control and seemed ready to make the game a rout from the get-go as they put full-court pressure on the Mustangs, forcing errant passes and difficult shooting.

However, the Mustangs hung in there and eventually produced a humble comeback early in the first half before the Bulldogs ran away with the win over  their Granite Ridge Conference competitor.

McCalla was his usual cool on the floor and Lukas Dertinger (17) converted from outside while Jack Conzemius (12) inside as the Bulldogs moved their season record to 8-6. Dawson Thom added 12.
Mora was led by Cal Wright, who had 15 points.

Becker scoring: McCalla 22, Dertinger 17, Conzemius 12, Thom 12, Sam Ricker 5, Bryce Boser 4, Jason Kringler 4, Brandon Gustafson 4 and Ryan Good 3.

Mora scoring: Wright 15, Matt Venhuizen 14, Brandon Mann 11, Casey Cheney 4, Keaton Torell 3 and Caleb Weaver 2.
