The Becker Bulldog archery program saw its season hit full stride last weekend, as a full slate of teams participated in the Foley tournament.
A total of 217 archers participated in the event, with 154 different personal best scores being racked up by the Bulldogs.
The Elementary School team picked up second place finishes in both the 3-D and Bullseye divisions, with Reid Hanson finishing sixth in the Bullseye and Parker Smith ninth. In the girls division, Briana Burzinski was tops in seventh place and Leah Lutgen finished in 10th.
Hanson again paced the boys in the 3-D event, taking fourth, while Charlie Aeshliman was eighth and Smith ninth. In the girls 3-D, Kylie Kasper was third and Avery Tschida seventh, followed by Lili Nelson in eighth and Emily Brower in ninth.
The Middle School team took first in 3-D and second in Bullseye, as Jack Glenz won both events.
Top 10 finishes for Becker in the Bullseye included Ethan Luethmers (seventh) and Ramsey Brake (eighth), while in 3-D the Bulldogs took half the top spots, including Luethmers (third), Jim Ackerman (fifth), Wesley Tschida (seventh) and Ramsey Brake (eighth). MaKenna Hanson placed sixth to lead the girls division.
The High School archers finished in fifth place in both divisions, with Addison Bertram taking the championship in Bullseye and placing eighth in 3-D to pace the Bulldogs.
