Area Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) fans can circle September 22 on their calendars, as Becker’s own Bobby Lee is slated to take part in his 22nd professional match as part of an exciting night of match-ups.
Lee’s tilt is part of the Legacy Fighting Alliance (LFA) 168, held at Mystic Lake Casino and Hotel, where he will face Lucas Clay, a relative of Muhammad Ali, who has a pro record of 9-2. Lee goes into the match with a career record of 13-8, including nine knockout/submission wins.
“I feel good and I’m ready to win,” Lee said this week, as he prepared for the match. “Experience is on my side in this one.”
In addition to his training, Lee has been coaching at the Cellar gym and working to expand the sport.
The LFA 168 card includes several of Lee’s teammates from Cellar, as well as Lee’s former training gym in St. Cloud. Lee also reported that Mitch McKee, an elementary school wrestling teammate of his, is also in the main event.
