The Hornet boy’s tennis team was defeated 7-0 by the North Branch Vikings in the opening match of the season on Tuesday. 

Erick Carlson competed in the No. 1 singles slot, Carsyn Grew in the No. 2, Ian Anderson in the No. 3, and Zachary Stegora in the No. 4. The pairings for the doubles matches were Ethan Carlson and Miles Slack in the first slot, Colton Stelzer and Joey Allen in the second, and Blake O’Brien and Donovan Donner in the third. 

This Thursday the boys will travel up to Aitkin to take on the Gobblers in a match.
