Becker girls lacrosse goes 1-2 in recent games with a big win over ROCORI last Friday.
Vs. Monticello
The Lady Bulldogs struggled to get the ball to their attackers in the first half, but the defense held up strong against a relentless Monticello attack last Thursday on the road. The Bulldogs lost to Monticello, 14-5 but held the Magic to just four goals in the second half. Scoring for the Bulldogs were Morgan Vee (three), Brynn Koste (one), and Skyler Hanson (one).
JV lost 10-3 with Olivia Pudlick, Phoebe Grecula and Gracie Conzemius each scoring one goal.
Vs. ROCORI
On Parent’s Night, the Bulldogs started strong with Brynn Koste, Alison Woodard, and Morgan Vee scoring goals in the first quarter to help the Bulldogs push ahead of ROCORI. The team struggled with penalties the first half, but made adjustments and never looked back scoring nine goals in the second half versus just two for ROCORI. Final score was Becker 13, ROCORI 5.
Scoring for the Bulldogs was Morgan Vee (four goals), Alison Woodard (two), Chloe Spears (two) Brynn Koste (two) Taylor Hanson (one), Skyler Hanson (one), and Qolbe Olson (one). Goalie, Hannah Burthwick recorded six saves.
JV won 10-3 with seven different players scoring goals: Olivia Pudlick (three), Pheobe Grecula (two), Gracie Conzemius (one), Eloise Kreft (one), Sammy Duncombe (one), and Raya Dunderi (one) and Lina Winkler (one). Avery Storlien showcased some skill in the goal recording five saves.
Vs. Delano
On Tuesday, the Bulldogs fell to the Delano/Rockford Tigers 15-5.
The Tigers started off with multiple early goals and the Bulldogs could not catch up. The Bulldogs were down 8-2 at half and started a comeback thanks to Skyler Hanson scoring two goals to bring the score to 8-4, but the Tigers offense was too much. Scoring on the night for the Bulldogs were, Skyler Hanson (three), Taylor Hanson (one), and Morgan Vee (one). Freshman goalie,Hannah Burthwick, recorded an impressive 13 saves.
JV lost 11-3 with Olivia Pudlick scoring all three goals. Freshman goalie Avery Storlien recorded five saves in the loss.
