3rd annual Mulligan’s Island is all a-boat fun!

The Becker Chamber of Commerce held their third annual, Mulligan’s Island golf tournament at Pebble Creek Golf Course Thursday afternoon.

Hundreds of supporters and guests signed up for the nine-hole event that also featured a meal afterwards as well as a silent auction and music by Joe Perry.

Probably the biggest highlight of the day was when local pro Greg Mattson sank a hole-in-one on hole #7 as part of the Patriot Newspaper foursome of Bill Morgan, Chris Meyer, Kathy Nelson and Mary Nehring. The Patriot team purchased a package at the start of the tournament that included special incentives including getting an extra shot from a local pro on a certain hole. And Mattson delivered!

Other games were featured throughout the course including Gilligan’s Island trivia,  hitting shuttlecocks, teeing off on plastic rubber ducks, longest drive to a marooned boat and many, many more.

Each golfer in the tournament also received a bag of goodies donated by area merchants and supporters of the Becker Chamber.

Chamber members would like to send a big thank you to the sponsors from the Becker Chamber and the many donations made by local businesses that helped make this event a huge success.
