Tim and Joanne Jenson of Becker, MN “always together” sadly passed away, but “together” in a tragic motorcycle accident on Sun., Nov. 19, 2023 in Sherburne County. They were married on April 2, 1988 at Glendorado Lutheran Church. 

Joanne was born to Bruce and Judy (Gunderson) Borst on 10/21/66 in Minneapolis.  She worked at National Vision in St. Cloud for 11 years. 

Tim was born to Jim and Isabelle (McCormick) Jenson on 4/18/66 at St. Cloud Hospital.  He worked at Federal Cartridge in Anoka for 36 years.

Tim and Joanne are survived by their adult children, son, Joseph Norris Jenson and daughter, Margo Jean Jenson, Grandpup “Peter’,  Joannes mother: Judy Borst, her brothers: Kevin (Sally) Borst, Steven (Kim) Borst, sisters: Karen Wipper, Sharon (Bruce) Thompson. Tim’s sister: Lottie (Chuck) Rike, step-sister Rachel (Ken) Welt, brothers: Steven (Joyce) Jenson,  Allen (Mary) Jenson, step-brother Anthony Sartwell, and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Joanne is preceded in death by her father - Bruce Oliver Borst, grandparents: Norris and Esther Gunderson and Joseph and Rose Borst, infant niece: Amber Borst, infant nephew/godson: Travis Wipper.

Tim was preceded in death by his parents Jim and Isabelle (McCormick) Jenson, Jim’s second wife Sue Sartwell (Jenson),  grandparents: Joseph and Dorothy Jenson, and Pearl and Basil McCormick.

A Celebration of Life is planned at Mr. Jim’s in Foley, 840 MN-23, on Tues., Nov. 28 at 10:30 a.m. Service at 11:00 a.m. followed by a luncheon and social hour. In lieu of flowers, contributions will be used to plant trees at their family home.
