Louis Dosh, 87 Zephryhills, FL Formerly of Becker, MN December 12, 1935 - November 4, 2023

Louis Dosh, 87, passed away peacefully on November 4, 2023 with his wife of 68 years by his side. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later time. Louis Bernard Dosh was born on December 12, 1935 to Arthur and Irene (Amundson) Dosh in Clear Lake, Minnesota. Always willing to help out and lend a hand, he began working a variety of jobs starting at age 12 such as farming, machine repair and railroad work. Louis was joined in marriage to Shirley Secord on June 4, 1955 and together they were blessed with three children. He worked the majority of his career at Wylain, Inc. and ultimately retired from Buhler, Inc. in 1998, where he was a Class A Assembler. Throughout his life, Louis was involved in several hobbies and had a particular interest in cars, winning trophies at the drag strip and attending local races as well as faithfully following NASCAR and visiting their tracks around the United States. He and Shirley spent countless hours together fishing, camping, snowmobiling and traveling, oftentimes with their family and friends, which created a lifetime of memories and stories that he loved to share. He volunteered with the Becker High School Marching Band, was a member of the Snocruisers Snowmobile Club and helped negotiate funding to establish snowmobile trails in Sherburne County, MN which he then assisted in maintaining before settling in Zephyrhills, FL for the winter months. If there was a project or problem that needed attention, Louis was always ready to get involved and help in any way he could and was the one everyone counted on to get the campfire started, around which everyone would gather and enjoy his company. Louis is survived by his wife, Shirley, his children Dave (Julie) Dosh of Becker, MN and Leslie Ansley of Franklin, TN, his grandchildren Macoy, Jena, Casey, Megan, Riley, Mitchell, Logan, Andrew, Sarah, Emily and Rachel as well as 24 great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents, his siblings Lois and Leonard, his daughter Vicki Cox, and his grandson Spencer.
