John Thomas Rogers journeyed to the afterlife February 19, 2024, at the age of 72. Services will be held at The Saron Lutheran Church of Big Lake, Saturday, April 6, at 1 p.m. All are welcome. John was born to Francis “Peter” Rogers and Audrey (Hawes) Rogers December 7, 1951, in Minneapolis, Minnesota. He is survived by sons, Shane Rogers (Elizabeth Bartlett), Jordan Rogers (Rebecca Daltroff), and Lucas Rogers (Sarah Rogers) and nine grandchildren, Ava, Kyla, Reevyn, Landen, Kathleen, Wrenick, Remington, McKenna & Alanis Rogers. He is also survived by twin brother James Rogers and younger brother Patrick Rogers, and by former wife, Denise Rogers (Mark Peterson), the mother of his children.
Johnny “Rock” was an enduring optimist who would “Never Give Up,” no matter the path. A man of music, good times, good books, & wild movies, John worked & traveled on adventures across the country. He was a friend to many & will be missed dearly.
