Harold Robert Simonsmeier, age 78 of Big Lake passed away Saturday April 4 at the Guardian Angels Care Center of Elk River.  Visitation was Thursday April 9 at Faith Lutheran Church, Becker.  A memorial service followed, Rev Richard Wehrs officiated.  Interment was at Becker Cemetery. Funeral arrangements are with the Peterson-Grimsmo Chapel of Monticello.

 

Harold was born March 19, 1937 in Oregon to Harold and Helen (Taft) Simonsmeier.  He had made his home in the Big Lake area for several years.  He was preceded in death by his parents;  brother Dean;  and son Scott.  Harold is survived by his wife, Anna Marie;  son Randy of Spearfish, SD;  daughter Robin (Randy) Edwards of Vina, AL;  four grandchildren;  six great grandchildren;  brother Richard Simonsmeier;  and sister Sandy Anderson.
