Debra A. Cole, 53 Clearwater, MN January 22, 1972 - February 4, 2025

Debra A. Cole, age 53, of Clearwater, died Tuesday, February 4, 2025, at Quiet Oaks Hospice House near St. Cloud.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held  11:00 a.m. Friday, February 21, 2025, at St. Luke Catholic Church, Clearwater with Fr. Dennis Backer as Celebrant. Burial will follow at St. Luke Catholic Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 4:00-7:00 p.m. on Thursday and one hour prior to the service on Friday, both at the church. 

Debra Ann Koshiol was born on January 22, 1972, in Saint Cloud, Minnesota, to Leo and Barbara (Mavencamp) Koshiol. Deb grew up and lived her entire life near Clearwater. She was baptized and confirmed at St. Mary Help of Christians in St. Augusta. Deb graduated from St. Cloud Tech High School and then furthered her education at Rasmussen Business College. Deb was a dedicated professional, serving as a building inspector for the City of Monticello for 24 years. On June 18, 2016, Deb married Ronald D. Cole at Warner Lake Park, near Clearwater.

Outside of her professional life, Deb was known for her zest for life and love of the great outdoors. She enjoyed mowing the grass and spending time fishing, finding peace and joy in the natural world around her. Deb’s spirit was further nourished by her passion for cruising the open waters, where the adventure brought her immense happiness. She also participated in community theater, sharing her talent and love for the arts with those around her.

Deb is survived by her husband, Ron of Clearwater; sons, Brandon Potter of Clear Lake, IA and Austin Ward of Monticello; siblings, Brenda (Max) Wunderlich of Mesa, AZ, Julie (Mark) Walterman of Lakeville, John (Sheila) Koshiol of Clearwater, Mary (Erick) Hagstrom of Minnetonka, Audrey (Greg) Roth of Annandale, and Andy (Beth) Koshiol of Clearwater; sister-in-law, Beau Koshiol of Wenatchee, WA; and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.  She was preceded in death by her parents, and brother, Randy.

Deb’s nephews will serve as urn bearers. Arrangements entrusted to Dingmann Funeral Care Burial and Cremation Services of Annandale.
