Anastasia Marie Lange, age 92 of Monticello and formerly of Clear Lake, passed away at her residence Monday April 27. Visitation was May 1 at Peterson-Grimsmo Chapel, Monticello. A Memorial Service followed. Interment was at South Santiago Lutheran Cemetery. Funeral arrangements were with the Peterson-Grimsmo Chapel of Monticello.

 

Anastasia was born Nov. 26, 1922 in Duelm, MN to Leo and Clara (Kampa) Landowski. She grew up in the Duelm area and lived much of her life near Clear Lake. For several years she was employed at Franklin Manufacturing of St. Cloud. She enjoyed playing cards, fishing and bingo. Her greatest joy was time spent with her grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.

 

She was preceded in death by her parents, Leo and Clara; husband Edward; son-in-law Don Peterson; brothers Roy, Daniel and Raymond; and sister Dorothy. Anastasia is survived by her children Frances Peterson, Marjorie Lange, Jerry (Jayne) Lange; 7 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; and 14 great great grandchildren.
