True Friends to host a virtual show and tell event

True Friends, a non-profit organization is hosting a virtual fundraiser Thurs., Oct. 22, at 12:00 – 12:30 p.m. Featuring a new format for their annual True Friends in Action Fall fundraiser, this 2020 event will be an online “show and tell” program where the camps and facilities are showcased in an on-location format. 

This “Show and Tell” format will offer viewers tours of different features of the camps, interviews of the campers, their families, and staff who will share the life changing experiences, stories, and importance of True Friends impact.

The event will focus on the facilities that are offered to True Friends clients so that attendees can feel like they are touring the locations. During this 30-minute video program campers, counselors and supporters will share stories and inspiration about their journeys and involvement with True Friends. Attendees will be able to view and safely donate at any time throughout the program.

True Friends is a nonprofit agency providing life-changing experiences that enhance independence and self-esteem for children and adults with disabilities. Funds raised during this event help support True Friends and the children and adults with disabilities they serve.
