The Bachelor to feature a native Becker-ite

Okay...who watches the TV Show called, The Bachelor?

Well, for those of you looking for a Minnesota connection, The Bachelor — Season 28 will be what you are looking for.

Becker 2017 graduate Daisy Kent is one of 32 young ladies vying for the love of Joey Graziadei, a 28-year-old tennis pro originally from Pennsylvania, but has since moved to Hawaii.

Kent, the daughter of Brandon and Julie Kent, is 24 years old and currently lives in San Diego, CA where she attended college after graduation. She was featured in a Patriot Newspaper story from 2021 where she gave her story to the Editor of her Lyme Disease diagnosis and her treatment. She ended up losing the hearing in one ear, which caused her to get an cochlear implant due to the hearing loss.

Kent became a viral superstar on social media when she began producing videos about her profound hearing loss and implant and gained 40,000 followers on TikTok.

Daisy was a volleyball player, lacrosse player and was in choir while in high school. At San Diego State, she studied communications and journalism.

Graziadei, the runner-up from The Bachelorette season that featured Charity Lawson, will be trying to choose a love from  Kent, a pair of sisters and even an actress.

There’s no official air date quite yet for The Bachelor, Season 28, but if this season follows the normal schedule, viewers can expect it as early as January 2024.

Good luck Daisy! We’re sure our readers will tune in on ABC in January.
