Spiritual healing shop opens to public in Big Lake

Magic Mushrooms in the Crystal Garden is a new business opening in Big Lake last weekend. It is located at 171 Lake St. N, in the same building as The Wave Youth Center. The shop is focused on spiritual healing, and is a new member of the Big Lake Chamber of Commerce.

Grand Opening

Kristin Wolf has been getting ready to open her new shop for several months, but with the COVID-19 epidemic she had to delay her grand opening. The shop opened to the public last weekend with an open house event.

Wolf said she has been selling crystals and other items online, but she wanted to move into a physical location in order to bring healing to the people in the Big Lake area.

Shop Specialties

The shop specializes in spiritual healing objects, such as crystals; candles; jewelry; smudge bundles, which are a bundle of herbs that can be burned to cleanse an area; pendulums; art by local artists; and medicinal mushrooms which give the shop its name. Wolf is also renting out a classroom space on the next floor where instructors will lead classes about yoga; empathic abilities, such as picking up on the energy of others; showing women how to connect with their moon cycles; creating homemade smudge bundles; grounding oneself; various art classes; and cleansing a home or other area.

Wolf’s goal, along with the rest of her team, is to bring people into balance and healing into people’s lives through means other than traditional western medicine.
