Santiago Lions host Community Breakfast

Santiago was hopping last Sunday, March 24 as the Santiago Lions members hosted their annual Eggstravaganza at Santiago Township Hall.

Treacherous roads and a winter storm warning did not seem to deter people from attending the annual community breakfast and bake sale.

Approximately 200 people attended the popular event. Breakfast options consisted of pancakes, French toast, sausage links, scrambled eggs and made-to-order omelettes. Orange juice, milk, coffee and bottled water were also available.

The Easter bunny was on hand for people to take pictures and gift bags were given to all children who attended. Scrumptious bake sale items were also available for sale. Proceeds from the event will be used by Santiago Lions to benefit our local communities.
