The Big Lake American Legion Auxiliary Unit 147 and the Legion Post sponsored Santa Days at The Buff in Big Lake Sunday.

Many volunteers showed up to set up tables and tables of toys for area youths to select from. The local Girl Scouts troop sang Christmas carols while families enjoyed cookies, juice and coffee.

One hundred and ninety-three children attended Santa Day! Paige won the girl’s bike and Joseph won the boy’s bike giveaways.

The volunteers included Sue Ronayne, Gloria Vande Brake, Former Legion Commander Wayne Harris as Santa, Jax Ages, Betty Wheeler, Karen Blake, Judy McVeigh, Sande Forster, Kathy Poslusny, Pam Notch, Marjorie Anderson, Linda Paulson, Bobbie Swanson and Tory Blackhurst.
