The annual Relay for Life® of Becker Survivor Dinner will be held on Monday, May 19th at Faith Lutheran Church, 11755 Sherburne Ave. A social hour will be held from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m. with dinner served immediately after. The evening is provided free of charge to all cancer survivors and a guest. A number of invitations may not have been delivered in time this year, according to Fran Seeley of the “Building Towards A Cure” relay team. She stated that all cancer survivors living in the area are welcome to attend with a guest, even if they did not receive an invitation. Residents who know of a cancer survivor living in the area are asked to extend an invitation to the dinner on behalf of the Relay, Seeley said.
“Survivor” shirts will be distributed at the dinner and at the 2014 Relay for Life® of Becker, which will take place in the parking lot at the Becker Middle School beginning at 6 p.m. on Friday, July 11. Attendees can fill out the postcard invitation for shirt sizes, or call the information in at the number listed above.
