Big Lake City announced this week the hiring of a new city planner.

Lucinda Meyers joined the community development team at Big Lake earlier this year after serving the City of Jordan as their senior planner in Scott County. Meyers has a Bachelor of Science degree  in Community and Regional Planning from Iowa State University and recently relocated to the area from the metro – and is a first time homebuyer!

Meyers says she is thrilled to be a part of the exciting developments happening in both the City of Big Lake and the region. She enjoys tennis, gardening and outdoor adventuring!
