There's historic fun for all ages at the 2014 Minnesota State Fair!
The fifth annual Minnesota History Day at the State Fair on Sunday, August 31, offers an action-packed line-up in Carousel Park. After his debut at last year's fair, the History Hound returns to meet and greet fans old and new and give out free History Hound capes. Everyone can try their hand at a make-it take-it robot headband project. Music, dance lessons, a Minnesota trivia contest with prizes, local luminaries and surprise guests large and small round out the day.
Minnesota History Day at the State Fair is free with fair admission and runs in Carousel Park (adjacent to the south side of the Grandstand) from 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
The History Hound will also appear in the State Fair Daily Parade every day (except August 31) at 2 p.m.
The History Hound uses his power to help kids sniff out and dig up history and also loves to hand out cool trading cards and pose for fun photos with history fans of all ages.
