EMR gifts $300k to Becker Schools

Becker Public Schools announced last Friday that two incredible honorees who have made a significant impact on our school community were celebrated.

EMR (Northern Metals Recycling) awarded Becker Schools with a $300,000 donation which will bring a state-of-the-art LED screen to the new multipurpose stadium being constructed. The scoreboard will enhance the experiences of Becker’s athletes and spectators. The school adminstrators said they were extremely grateful for EMR’s belief in their mission and commitment to excellence. 

Also announced — in recognition of his 50+ years of dedicated service, Becker football’s head football coach, Dwight Lundeen, will have the new stadium named after him! Coach Lundeen has shaped the lives of countless students and exemplifies the spirit of mentorship and excellence. Becker school officials said they are proud to honor him in this special way. 

Congratulations to EMR and Coach Lundeen. Their contributions have made a lasting impact on Becker schools, and the district is grateful for their support.
