Easter fun in Clearwater

Kids could visit the Easter Bunny and practice their Easter egg hunting skills last Saturday, as Clearwater was host to two fun-filled events.

Clearwater Fire & Rescue Relief Association sponsored Clearwater Fire & Rescue’s annual Easter Egg Hunt in the morning, which included hot chocolate, basket drawings, visits with the Easter Bunny, and the main event – an Easter Egg Hunt.

Because there were so many kids in attendance, they were split into two age groups so the littlest ones could gather eggs at their own pace. The older kids’ group was first limited to 10 eggs each, after which it was a free-for-all to gather up the rest.

“Fill the Boot” was available for attendees to make donations to Clearwater Fire & Rescue.

Next door, Clearwater Coborn’s also held their annual kids’ Easter event, which included visits with the Easter Bunny, bunny crafts and cookie decorating, face painting, and an egg hunt at different departments around the store.
